4R Ranch Vineyards & Winery

Where the shortgrass prairie drops into the Red River Valley, the 4R Ranch — with its majestic vistas and rocky terrain — is perfectly situated for growing grapes. Chinquapin oaks, white-tailed deer, the endangered black-capped vireo, and the occasional Rio Grande turkey inhabit this incredible property.

Powered by the sun, earth, and wind, 4R Ranch Vineyards & Winery invites us all to slow our pace, enjoy the view, and sip a glass of wine in the magnificent Red River Valley.

Also available as an event venue.

Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard

Enjoy tastings, tours, and light snacks at this family owned and operated winery and vineyard. For many years this facility was one of the foremost ostrich breeding and ranching facilities in the southwest. The structure that houses the winery, tasting room and corporate offices was once filled with ostrich eggs, chicks and fledglings. The acreage to the west nurtures Tempranillo, Viognier and Cabernet grapevines was the same hillside where hundreds of 7 foot tall ostrich roamed during the 80’s and 90’s.
